About Craig
Biography
Craig and his wife Victoria with their three sons Angus, Stuart and James have lived in Port Stephens for 25 years. Craig studied Civil and Structural Engineering at the University of Sydney, and went on to run a successful Hunter-based residential building company.
A Port Stephens Councillor since 1987, Craig was awarded the Centenary of Federation Medal in 2001 for services to Local Government. Craig is an Emeritus Mayor of Port Stephens and a Freeman of Port Stephens. A big Wallabies fan, Craig has been actively involved with many sporting and community clubs in the region.
Craig was first elected as the State Member for Port Stephens in 2007 and following the election of the O'Farrell Government in 2011 he was appointed Parliamentary Secretary for regional Planning by the Premier.
